Woke up in the morning at 4am, this is something which I will never want to do in my entire life! Thank God the morning traffic to the Changi Airport is smooth, and I could have a good chat with my parents. The ride from Singapore to Guang Zhou is kind of hot and long, because the air condition of the air plane is not good, which makes me appreciate the free air conditions that we Singaporean could get almost anywhere. When we arrived at the air port of Guang Zhou for transition of air plane, we saw the ugly side of Chinese while we were waiting for our bags. One Chinese man was not satisfied with what the air port personal said to him, and he became very violent, he started throwing punches to the people he was upset with, almost all of our group people stared at them which the whole incident take place. I really thank God that in Singapore all of us are well educated and we know how embarrassing is it to become so angry that you throw punches around, we know what is the proper thing to do if you want to settle things. I guess living in a multi-cultural society or country for so long, things like this would actually make you think about how precious the peace and harmony between all Singaporean are.
After we arrived at the air port of Wuhan, we got to know this volunteer from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, her name is Lee Xuan. She has very kindly talk to us and tells us a lot about Wuhan. As the bus travels towards the university, we exchanged a bit of our culture with Lee Xuan on things like the way we speak mandarin very differently from the locals, as they speak with a mono-tone way, whereby for us Singaporean we speak with high and low tones in one sentence. Lee also showed us one of the very famous rivers in China “Chang Jiang” and told us a few history of it.
When we arrived at the school hostel, we were all devastated by looks of it, because the whole hostel looks like a prison… But Thank God that there is air con!!! I think I really can’t live without it. Thank God that there is water heater in the toilet, if not we will be bathing cold water for 43 days!
(sorry that the photos are in random) =X

Great experience, ya! =D Remember don't eat roadside 'steamboat' because the likelihood of the hawkers not changing the gravy is very high... Years ago I was stopped by the local Chinese when I wanted to try... after hearing their horror stories, I whisked away immediately... That's China :)
