31 Aug 2008
Today is Sunday! So Mr Puah, Teck Yi, Clarissa, Julian and I decided to go and find a church to attend service! Thank God we were able to find one which is near to the place which the whole groups of students were going, which is the Park beside the Yangtze River! I was quite surprise to be able to visit a church in China as I thought that China has not yet been giving green light to Christianity, but really was excited and looking forward to how it would be like! When we reached the church, the service has already started, so we could only listen to the sermon outside the church…. But thank God one of the church’s helper came and offered us seats to sit down and listen to the sermon! =) I think that’s very sweet of them! And after the service the senior pastor of the Church of Glory wanted to meet us! We were all feeling honored and delighted to hear that! He even invited us into his office even though we weren’t dressed up well… (Feel so ashamed… =( )

Then after the service we decided to take a walk back to where we came from as it wasn’t far away, but in the end we lost our way… =X but thankfully we found some nice passer-by that gave us directions back to where we came from!

After we joined back with our group, we went to the orchard road of Wuhan 步行街! When we were there we can’t stop shopping and we went into shopping spree! I bought a few clothes for my family too! We also ate Korean BBQ style food for lunch!

I personally feel that, the people in Wuhan are somehow friendly in a sense that they do not look at you as if you are like an alien to them, or maybe because we are all Chinese. But I really feel that Wuhan and its people are really learning fast and developing fast into the future! =)

Today is our city tour! As you can see from the photos above, there are so much more that I want to show you on the blog but there are just too many of them! I really broaden my knowledge about china’s history especially of Wuhan, the view on top of the yellow crane tower is breath taking!

We were all so tired out by the walking and taking of photos, everyone did learned something important one way or another through the tour, and all thanks to WUST teachers and stuff for planning our trip and making this trip and unforgettable one! I guess not only we as students enjoyed ourselves I think Mr Puah our lecturer in-charge enjoyed himself too! =)

Tomorrow will be our tour at 步行街, I hope it will be a great time again! GOD BLESS ALL! =)
