Went to visit the new campus of WUST this afternoon! The campus is really beautiful, and the buildings and facilities there are all so new and great looking! I really love that campus and how I wish our school is just like theirs! Haha… The campus is built near to the 皇家湖 and the view over the whole campus is really beautiful. I think if I am a student studying there I would be enjoying the view and the environment there!

I made a new friend there at the campus too! My new friend’s name is Geng Yu. She is from Xin Jiang and she came all the way here to study in WUST. And she also told me that for her to go home, the journey will take around 2 days! I was really stunned when I hear that!

The experience in the new campus is really unforgettable, but one thing I felt when I was there at the campus is that, the student culture and our student culture back in Singapore are totally different. But yet when we come together and interact it seems that we have no walls between us, even our Indian classmates were enjoying the moment when we were there.

I personally feel that having an exchange programme like this really foster a stronger bond between the two countries and also opened a new path for students from both countries to exchange and enjoy each other’s culture!
