After the trip to the 3 gorges, I personally feel that China is really doing well in developing their country, in areas like being able to provide power for themselves using their natural resources, eg the YangTze River. The biggest dam in the world is really magnificent and massive, I couldn’t say another word to describe to you how massive and big that project was. Thinking of the amount of power supply that will be produced after the dam is completed; it will really bring the standard of living in China lower.
But it’s a pity that most part of the 3 gorges will be submerged in water after the dam is completed, many of the old residents living along the YangTze River were all moving to other areas away from where they use to live. But I guess this is done for the benefit of other people in China.
China people are all so friendly, and I really enjoyed myself during the wooden boat ride!
