25 Sept 2008

Today is the last day of our IS class, I really enjoyed all the IS lessons that I had with Xiao Ling Lao Shi! I really learned a lot of things about China’s history, Banking System and how to do business in China. I really hope I can have more chance to sit in her lesson!

Xiao Ling Lao Shi thank you for your hard work and thank you for patients and attention that you have gave us! =)

After lesson today, Mr Puah together with Andy, Geok Ting and I went to the nearby wet market to buy our things to cook for dinner tonight! Mr Puah wanted to cook porridge for all of us to eat, so we went to take a look there. I personally feel that the wet market here sells really fresh vegetables! Looking at the color of the vegetables, it makes you want to go over and buy them back! =X

We had a really nice dinner tonight thanks to Mr Puah our half grandfather over here taking care of all of us! We love you Mr Puah! =) Your porridge really tasted great!!! =)

24 Sept 2008

Went to the vegetarian restaurant today together with Andy, Chin Xiang, Suelyn and Vivian! The food there really makes me want to become a vegetarian myself! I can’t believe that vegetable can taste so nice, as I myself am a meat lover. I can’t survive without meat, but I am really surprised that I can’t stop once I started eating!

After the meal, we took a walk down to the computer city. Along the way we saw many shops which are having BIG DISCOUNTS!!!! We couldn’t stop ourselves from walking into the shops as we walk pass them!

Along the way we saw a police officer combing the road side stores, as I walk pass them I can feel that the atmosphere there is so tense… guess China is also slowly getting into a higher standard of law and order! =)

It was a tiring day, but all of us are happy and glad that we came out because we all got what we wanted!

~Test~ (Day 30)

23 Sept 2008

Thank God that I am able to answer all the test questions! Ever since the day of the last paper I had last semester, I have forgotten how taking a test paper feels like! But I sure hope that I will pass this time’s test!

The weather here is getting colder and colder each day! I really hope I can enjoy the coolest weather here before I leave for Singapore! =)

I was quite worried about Andy my roommate as he has a bad tooth and has been going to the dentist here for 2 times, and tomorrow is his 3rd visit which is his last visit, I really hope and pray that he will feel less pain this time! =X

~Rest Day Preparation for Test~ (Day 29)

22 Sept 2008

Thank God that today was a off day for us, as all of us were all tired out by the travelling.

The news about the milk product was spread throughout all my friends here; we were all troubled by it because many things we couldn’t eat over here. When we came to think of it, almost all our daily food contains milk. I really pray hard that no one here will get ill after eating any milk related product.

Everyone is busy studying for the test tomorrow, hope everyone will do well! GOD BLESS ALL! =)

~Another great view!~
21 Sept 2008

On the second day of the visit to Mt. Wudang, we set out to go all the way up to the highest point of the mountain which is 1612 meters above sea level! The journey up the mountain to the cable car station is 1 hour! And the mountain trial is really crazy!

When we reach the cable car station, the clouds are all forming around, and the weather is so cooling and shiok! The air up there is also super fresh, and it really makes you feel refreshed and clears your mind!

When Ah De and me were taking the cable car up the mountain, it was quite a scary ride because the speed of the cable car is really slow, plus the cable car itself is shaking. But both us were thinking not about ourselves but our friend Chin Xiang! Because he is afraid of height! =X thankfully he manage to overcome his fear! =)

It was really a great trip up at the top of the mountain! I really feel that I have really seen what China’s history and beauty is all about. I know well that what I have seen is only just a little part of the beauty of china, but I do hope and wish that I will get the chance to travel to other parts of China and truly enjoy and taste the true beauty of her! =)

20 Sept 2008

At last we have reached Mt WuDang, the bus ride of 6 hours was not a fun thing to do! My seat on the bus was spoiled and I have to train my back all the way from Wuhan to Wudang Mountain! It wasn’t a pleasant ride at all!

But thankfully the lunch that day made up for everything! We had a good lunch at the restaurant when we arrived at WuDang Mountain town, it really taste very good.

When we went up the mountain, many of us were made dizzy by the ride up because the roads around the mountain trial are really curvy. Some of the other tourists taking the same bus with us were vomiting while going up! As the bus goes higher the ticker the mist became and when we reached our first station, the air and temperature outside was totally cooling! I almost didn’t want to come back down!

The tour on that day overall is good and I think everyone should come and take a look and experience it yourselves!
