~Last Night In Wuhan~ (Day 42)

~Pan Shi Fu and the Bread Van~ =)

5 Oct 2008

Today is the last night in Wuhan… I guess I couldn’t clearly explain my feelings right now. I do feel that I miss home much… but at the same time the trigging memories that we had here in Wuhan is rushing through my mind…

I really love Wuhan, and it is a great place with good people. Really want to take this chance to thank Mr Puah for taking care of all of us when we were in a foreign country! Thank the school for giving us this chance to come over here to experience such a wonderful community and culture over here in Wuhan. I hope for the next few batches of people who come to Wuhan will feel the same way as us!

Thank You Li Xuan and Liu Cheng for all the hospitality that you all have showed us! We were all touched by you and your families. I will come back to Wuhan to visit you all for sure! Someday… I will come back!

Thank You Pan Shi Fu (My good friend Driver), although you won’t get to view this blog but I just want to thank you for driving us around and teaching me a lot about the culture of Wuhan and the people here. Now I get a better sense of direction over here in Qing Shan! =) thank you!!! I love you all! =)

Singapore I’m coming back!

~Guang Bu Tun Shopping Spree 2~ (Day 41)

4 Oct 2008

Went to the Guang Bu Tun today! It is quite far away from Bu Xing Jie, nearer to the computer city. There are many shops around there! And we choose a few to do our shopping in!

The first stop was the Qun Guang Shopping Center. When we stepped into the shopping center, there’s a nice young man helping us put our wet umbrella into a plastic back! And I think you can guess the goods inside there were just a little too much for us to handle, so we took at few look and went off.

The weather here in Wuhan is really unpredictable, it can be as hot as 34 degrees today, but it can rain the next day at 15 degrees! But I personally feel that we as Singaporeans were able to adept very well to the weather change, and the people here always say that we are very healthy and not scared of cold! =X

~Han Zheng Jie Shopping Spree~ (Day 40)

3 Oct 2008

Time really flies… it is getting nearer and nearer to the day where we will leave this beautiful place Wuhan… It is really hard to say goodbye to such a nice place… I really enjoyed myself to the fullest over here.

Went shopping at wholesale center Han Zhen Jie today! It really reminds me of China town in Singapore during the Chinese New Year festive season! The road is so narrow and people are walking through with really big bulky bags of goods. And there are people who ride motor cycles through the narrow path! Thankfully no one is hurt or knocked down!

But it was really a great experience to go into such a big wholesale center! This is the biggest wholesale center I ever been to in my life! Hope everyone would have a chance to take a look here!

~Li Xuan's House Visiting!~ =) (Day 39)

~Everyone in Li Xuan's house! =)~

~Julian, Liu Cheng, Li Xuan and I~ =)

~Yi Ning and i~ She is wearing the cap i bought today! =)

2 Oct 2008

Thank You Li Xuan for your family’s hospitality on all of us! Thank You Liu Cheng for your Daddy’s great cooking!!! I really enjoyed myself eating all those local dishes!! That’s the best meal I ever had since I came to Wuhan! =) thank you Aunties and Uncles!

It was an eye opener when we went to Li Xuan’s house! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how nice and big her house is even though it looks like a normal HDB flat in Singapore from the outside. It just looks like a condominium in the inside, and Li Xuan’s room is really like a princess’s room. It is so beautifully decorated and it is really spacious!

The food that Liu Cheng’s father cooked is really the nicest food I ever ate in Wuhan! Especially the Wu Chang Fish! I think I will definitely come back to Wuhan to visit them again! =)

Going back to Singapore in 3 days time… =( Will miss Wuhan….

~Project Day....~ (Day 38)

1 Oct 2008

Happy National Day to China and to everyone! =)

Today is a joyous day! But my team and I have to mug hard on our video making…. But thankfully all my group mates were all strong willed! We could resist the temptation of going out and shopping!

Thank God we manage to finish off all the editing and could rest well tonight. I hope the other teams will be able to finish their video too by tomorrow. Everyone is so burn out by the video making… all looking so tired and tense… =(

I pray hard that all will be well when we put the videos all together! =)

~Project... Project... and... Project...~ (Day 37)

30 Sept 2008

Today was a day of project doing… started right after I wake up and all the way. Thankfully the presentation date when we go back to Singapore is changed! Now I can spend more time with my family and have a good rest before school starts! =)

I think I will really miss Wuhan… because I have already been feeling the sadness flowing out of me now… I will definitely miss the food over here and of course the weather…. I will miss those friends which I have made over here too! But thank God that I wouldn’t need to miss my roommates and good friends in my class over here, because I can still call them up and see them in school!

Really thank God for every single one of you all! Andy, Willis, Teck Yi, Chin Xiang, Julian, Fiza, Amirah, Adeline, Shiuan Shiuan, Vivian, Suelyn, Sebas, Steffi, Geok Ting, Sam, Karen, Pretty Yi Ning, Clar and Wei Ling! I guess this trip wouldn’t be as fun without you all! =) Love you all man! Thanks for treating me like one of you all even though I am from EI and not from LMGT!

Hope you all can finish all the projects and assignments! 加油!!!

~Its really getting cold....~ (Day 36)

29 Sept 2008

It is really getting very cold over here! The wind doesn’t seem to have an end to it. It just kept blowing on and on and on… how I wish it was like this when we are all cooked by the hot weather in Singapore!

Went to the shopping mall to take a look at the autumn clothes, to our surprise we found that all the short sleeves clothes are all on discount! And we being Singaporeans went to buy lots of them! As they are so worth the money!!! =X

Well I’m looking forward to tomorrow where I can go shopping again! And I hope I can grab some good deal!! I really love my life over here! I just wish we could stayed a bit longer over here…
